DIY | Chevron Print Brush Holder

I've been de-cluttering and sprucing up my vanity area this week and needed a nice place for my hair brushes.  I went to Micheal's and picked up some glitter tape for .89 cents and a vase for $1.00 and restyled the vase to complement my theme.

I'm going with a silver and white theme this time for my vanity area and thought this silver chevron print did just the trick for the style I'm going for.

I literally had this done in about 5 minutes.  Just grab your scissors remove the tape, cut to size and voila!

I had to use a little bit of hot glue in some areas (seen above) but other than that loved the way it came out.  The bobby pin cup I got for 25 cents at a flea market, the tray for $2.50 with a 50% off coupon, cheap and chic!

I did something similar to this. I found a bunch of marbles/rocks at the dollar store and used that to fill the glasses & use it for my makeup brushes. Love that tray... where did you get it?

Totally adorable! I had no idea that Michaels had such cute vases for only 1 buck! I have a few ideas for decorating the house that requires glass containers. :)
